not much can get in the way Closer Liam Hendrix, and Cancer can be added to that list. The hard working close will beat cancer and will be active on Monday.

Hendrix began treatment for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in January. It will be a truly magical moment when Hendricks gets the ball for the first time this season.

Hendrix went through four rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, which can take a lot out of someone. Despite this, Hendricks remained active throwing out of the bullpen in Arizona.

The last day of his chemotherapy was 3 April. Since then he is on rehabilitation at the minors. He feels great, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he didn’t miss a beat.

Chicago White Sox fans can’t wait to see Liam Hendricks hit again. When he shared his diagnosis, fans were not sure whether he would play this season or not.

It’s not just White Sox fans who are happy to see Hendricks return. Baseball fans in general have taken to Twitter to welcome the Australian flamethrower.

Could the return of Liam Hendricks inspire the Chicago White Sox to change that?

The Chicago White Sox have been one of the most disappointing teams this season. To start the year they fell flat, leaving a huge hole to climb out of.

Chicago enters the new week in fourth place in the American League Central. They are six games behind the division-leading Minnesota Twins with their 22–33 record.

This is a far more talented team than theirs, but injuries are hitting them, just like last year. Slugger Eloy Jimenez spent some time on the IL with an appendectomy. He is on his rehabilitation and will be back in the team soon.

Another player saw some time on the IL, and that was Yoan Moncada. Moncada was struggling with a back problem, which was unfortunate as he started the season in a great way.

With key players getting healthy and returning to the roster, the White Sox should turn things around. They have a lineup full of hitters that can change games and a pitching staff that can be potentially dangerous.

If the White Sox want to turn things around, it needs to start this week.
