All elevated CTA stations in the Loop to be closed this weekend for track repairs
A big change this weekend in the Loop for all elevated stations could impact CTA riders. All elevated CTA stations in the Loop will be closed this weekend for track repairs in downtown Chicago. The Red and Blue lines are not expected to be affected, but all other lines are affected. The service suspension will begin at 4 a.m. Saturday and last until 2 a.M. Monday. The closures are for track maintenance and repairs at the Wells and Lake junction. Shuttle buses will be available, but it may take some extra time.
