He attended Alamo Heights High School, where he… Craig William Norris, a third child of Joan and Gene Norris, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026. Born in San Antonio in 1961, Craig was a track athlete and football player before moving to Chicago where he began his career as a trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He also served on the CME Board of Directors from 1996 to 1997 and again from 1998 to 2001. Craig was committed to the preservation of Chicago's architectural heritage, joining Preservation Chicago in 2003 and leading preservation efforts through the Bucktown/Wicker Park community organization. He was also a dedicated husband and father who leaves behind his wife, Cathy, daughter, Isabella, and son-in-law, Will.
