I met Georgia Beatty at the first Home Buyers Program workshop directly offered at Uptown Bank in Chicago.  After answering the questions she asked with the help of Maus Community Center, Georgia was immediately recognized as the lawyer I wanted. She did a great job to understand all the great print of buying a huge loan and buying a house. She answered all our calls quickly and clearly to our questions. She didn't feel comfortable calling me many times. We asked a lot of questions. We strongly recommend her service. I spoke to her on the phone in the apartment. She said she could help, so I was ready to call on her and pay her. But first I wanted to ask a simple preliminary question. She cut me off and told me that it was not legal aid. She didn't intend to talk to me until I came in and paid 200 dollars. For her, it seems to be a matter of billing time. I decided to look for a lawyer who wouldn't make me feel stupid.
