I and my wife hired Ted Kowaltsk as a lawyer when they sold six apartments in Chicago. He failed us. Throughout the whole deal, his wife and daughter contacted him and told him that we were going to reinvest from sales to other commercial sites in Wisconsin. He asked his daughter which exchange company to use for 1031. She instructed him to use a particular company. Ted didn't establish any trading company while we didn't know. About 30 days after the shop closed, my daughter sent Ted an email to know the contact information of the exchange company. At that time, Ted said he didn't establish anything at the 1031 exchange company. He didn't know that we were going to reinvest. What? We talked to him over and over with the aim of reinvesting. IRS rules say that an exchange company must have money to sell at Escrow, so it is no longer possible to establish anything with an exchange company. I didn't know when the store closed. We are now being paid an extraordinary amount of capital gains tax. I feel that Ted Kowaltact has deceived me and deceived me. Stay away!

I used this man's service once because the agent recommended him. He seemed to know what he was doing when the shop was closed. But a few months later, I realized that I didn't care what he was doing. He finally forgets to finish thinking about what he should do as a lawyer representing you. When you call, he doesn't care, but it's more rude than trying to threaten you. I will never use this man's service again, even if he becomes the last lawyer on earth.
