Douglas Connauver graduated from Indiana University (Bachelor of Politics) in 1978. He attended the Department of Law at the University of Depole in Chicago, Illinois, and in 1981 he received a Doctor of Juris's Doctor and in November of the same year he entered Barr, Illinois. After graduating from law school, he served as a trust officer for the American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago and worked for the Trust Special Assets Division and the Trust Division. From 1987 to 1991, he practiced law at a large Chicago law firm and practiced it at Rieck and Crotty P.C. From August 1991 to June 2014. Doug set up his company in June 2014.

Doug is a trustee of the Indiana Society of Chicago and its related Scholarship Foundation and has been president of ISOC for two years. He is an active member and director of Trout Unlimited. Doug, who has served as a member of the Condominium Management Association, has been the company's president for 10 years.
