Camellia Cottage, Bronzeville Bites, Fresh Start CoffeeWorks and Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken are the newest additions. The Upstate's restaurant scene continues to expand, with new concepts opening across Greenville, Simpsonville, Mauldin, and Spartanburg. Recent additions include locally owned cafes, full-service restaurants, a lounge, Chicago-style street food, and a mission-driven coffee shop. Some businesses are celebrating grand openings after years of planning, while others are bringing familiar brands back to the region or introducing new concepts. Coupe's Corner Lounge in Mauldins has opened with a late-night menu featuring elevated comfort foods and live music. Camellia Cottage serves breakfast, lunch, coffee and house-made pastries in a cottage-inspired setting, while Seven Oaks offers a more upscale dining experience with a focus on full-services meals and hospitality. Famous Recipe Chicken is returning to its former location in Spartanburg with a return.
