The Boeing 787-800 aircraft from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport to Chicago had to be taken off the runway due to brake issues. The incident occurred during landing time at Chicago O’Hare. No injuries were reported, but one passenger was taken to hospital after becoming unwell during the flight. The aircraft was taken out of service to be inspected by American Airlines' maintenance team and no injuries were caused. The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the issue. This incident is not the first blown tire at the Chicago hub in recent months.
