The McRIB, which debuted more than 40 years ago, typically returns on menus in the fall or winter. However, McDonald's has not indicated that 2026 will be its final appearance. An unofficial website allows fans to flag locations where the sandwich has been spotted, McRrib Locator. This year, the sandwich was the subject of a federal class-action lawsuit accusing McDonald's of misleading consumers by marketing it as containing actual pork rib meat, which the plaintiffs allege does not.
