NASA Expert Discusses The Eclipse Wednesday At The Oak Lawn Library
Patrons can learn all about the eclipse and touch a moon rock Wednesday, April 3, at the Oak Lawn Public Library. NASA Ambassador Mark Benson will discuss the upcoming solar eclipse at the Oak Lawn Public Library in Illinois from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 3 at the library. Benson will provide an all-ages program, including updates on the eclipse and the upcoming NASA Artemis moon mission in 2025. Patrons can also touch a piece of the moon. Solar eclipse viewing glasses will be distributed while supplies last.

The all-ages program runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in meeting rooms A, B, and C. Benson will update patrons on the eclipse and the upcoming NASA Artemis moon mission in 2025. He’ll talk about his favorite scientists.
Patrons can also touch a piece of the moon. Solar eclipse viewing glasses will be distributed while supplies last.
