The company has faced setbacks in its River West casino, hotel and entertainment project, which is expected to contribute about $200 million into city pensions annually. Bally’s notified the Chicago Community Builders Collective (CCBC) on Aug. 9 that it was halting construction on elements of Baly’�s Chicago permanent casino. CCBC is the general contractor for the Ballys project and requires new construction to include minority and women-owned businesses.
